On October 17th, the team conducted some 3D survey tests with mobile tools in Piuro (Lombardy, Italy). The aim was to survey the environment and the vertical path that connect the valley floor (location: Prosto) to the ancient “trone” (quarries of soapstone).
The team emplyed a tool designed and built in laboratory, while Ing. Vassena and his stuff from Gexcel srl, used their mobile system Heron Backpack.
